So, here goes: 50 non-career related books in 2012. There will be rereads and new books. And I'm always looking for suggestions, so feel free to comment!
I was going to post little comments about each book, but as I find myself increasingly busy, I find my motivation increasingly non-existant. So, Just as my friend Amy is doing, I'm just going to post pictures.
Total Thus Far: 50
do you own 'ender's game'? because its been on my list of books to read....
ReplyDeleteIts on my iPad, but you are welcome to read it on there.
ReplyDeleteYay! I'm excited to see what you read in 2012. I'm always looking for new books. Guess I have to add Ender's Game to my list...once I make it through A Prayer for Owen Meany...which I've been reading for the past few months. *tugs shirt collar* Oops...?
ReplyDeleteHa! I just finished "The Lost Symbol", which I hadn't read before, but I agree: "Angels and Demons" is by far the best. If I was doing re-reads, I would definitely read it again. Have you read his other two: "Deception Point" and "Digital Fortress"? I remember them being decent.
ReplyDeleteNoticed you're taking on The Lord of the Rings. I've read "The Hobbit", but so far no desire to read the trilogy. What do you think so far?
ReplyDeleteI haven't read "The Hobbit" - started with the Trilogy, but plan to read it after I'm done with those three. I've never read them before, although I tried in grade 6 and found them completely boring. Now I'm quite enjoying them. I think it helps to have seen the movies.
DeleteI'm reading the trilogy for the first time, too. Philip and I read The Fellowship of the Ring out loud and it took 2 years. (I don't recommend reading these out loud). But now I'm really into The Two Towers!
DeleteBoo-yah! Nice work, friend! :) Also, kudos to you for trying for 50 again. I upped mine to 36, but alas, I am not brave enough for 50.
